COMMUNITY
“Kuuranya” is derived from the indigenous word (in some dialects) for rainbow but it has a much broader meaning related to community, the oneness of creation and the unity of humanity.
“You are me … I am you … We are one.”
As such, each action we take is reflected back on society in kind. When we live with this code in a positive way every action we take is done out of respect … we are living and giving from our hearts to each other, to the trees, to the sky, to the birds, and to the stars.
We are located in the heart of the northern rivers in a sacred landscape at the feet of Wollumbin. Our logo shows a community of embracing women and men living closely within nature, firmly rooted to the land and reaching out to others. This is how we see our place in this space, operating closely with nature, protective of each other, the land, the water and the wildlife, having minimal impact on our surroundings and providing something positive and uniting for the local community.
